You can try to use Code Editor to edit the code directly in the app or just publish your project and bring it manually to the end. Hi! It's a normal behavior of Mobirise that it overwrites all the code written manually afterwards. Either way, anything you do to your site after you publish it is'nt Mobi's responsibility. either make ALL of your edits in Mobirise (buy the Code Editor, it's definitely worth it), OR whenever you publish your site, publish to a different folder (but then you'd have to re-do your external edits). anything you do to your published site AFTER you publish cannot be reflected back into Mobirise. If you publish again to the same place (B), you will overwrite any changes you made with a different editor. you open and edit a secret ninja copy of it (location 'A'). you do not open and edit something you already published (location 'B'). you just overwrote the changes you made with the other editor. Great! Then you go back to MS Word, and open 'A' again, change some things maybe, then "publish" it to location B. You then edit 'B' with some other word processor and make changes. You decide to publish it to your desktop (let's call this location 'B"). If you create a text document in MS Word and it is saved in you Documents folder (let's call this 'A'). If anyone has any suggestions or has ha the same issues with an external code editor if they have any suggestions that would be great. So if that is the only way the code will not get erased they need to take and think the issue of external code editors OR add a FREE code editor plugin in the mobirise builder for those who can not take and afford the 70 dollars for there code editor. Why does the mobirise wipe out ALL my added code if I add a new block to my site and hit the publish to save changes? I am guessing because I am not using the code editor plugin but like a lot of people out there I do not have 70 bucks to spend on the code editor plugin. So what I guess I am trying to figure out is if I can add the codes in by hand in the external code editor and everything works great on preview. But if I go in the folder re add the code and preview it in the browser the code works perfect as long as I do not hit publish in Mobirise in the builder to local folder. Then on going back into mobirise, and adding a new block to my page in mobirise, and hit publish to local folder ALL the code I just added is gone. And opened up a html page in either notepad++ or atom code editor and added a few pieces o code to the page. One of the standout features of Mobirise is its intuitive drag-and-drop editor, which makes it easy for users to customize their websites and add new features. Took and designed my site in Mobirise, and went to the folder on my desktop where I published the site to.
